Sadly besides the texture pack, their extended idea's never came to fruition. In general, I think the best texture pack for this game depends on what you want the game's atmosphere to be, rather than a strict better/worse scale. It just became too much for them and the team fell apart due disagreements and such. They should have remained to making a texture pack. It started out as a texture pack, but it quickly turned into a mod with additional dungeons, hard mode and what else and then it turned into a complete remake from scratch.
